Block Captain Program

Have you been looking for a way to support your neighborhood and local civic association but feel you may not have the extra time? Here’s a great opportunity to help out and get to know your neighbors!

Responsibilities:

Local Greeter - Deliver a MVCA New Neighbor Welcome Letter to new neighbors on your block.
Neighborhood Communications

The time commitment is minimal. Each captain would be responsible for 10 - 20 houses, depending on your block size. We will consider co-captains too if there is enough interest.

The MVCA is only as active as our community members make it and now is your chance to help out!

You can also attend the next MVCA membership meeting and let a MVCA chairperson know. They are generally scheduled quarterly on Wednesdays at 7pm at the Washington Mill Elementary School library. Check out the calendar link for the latest schedule.
